FRED KWASHIE AWUTTEY, ESQ.
FRED KWASHIE AWUTTEY is a Barrister and Solicitor of the Supreme Court of Ghana, as well as a Chartered Tax Practitioner and International Tax Advisor. He specializes in International Taxation, Transfer Pricing, Energy Resources and Mineral Taxation, and Commercial Transactions. Currently, he is the Director of Tax at EM Tax Advisors, leading a team of tax practitioners.
Fred has served as a lecturer on taxation at GIMPA and Central University and is a visiting lecturer at the University of Ghana. He has authored two books, “Modern Approach to International Taxation” and “Abridged Principles of International Taxation,” along with several articles on taxation.
He has significantly contributed to tax development in Ghana, including training members of the Independent Tax Appeal Board and successfully consulting for industry players in the mining sector in Ghana for the Government of Ghana to amend the Income Tax Act of 2015 (Act 896) concerning mineral purchases.
RICHARD LADJAGLAH, ICAG, CITG, MBA, Pg.- Dip, IoD
RICHARD LADJAGLAH is a lead consultant for direct taxes, including Corporate Income Tax, Employment Income Tax, and capital gain tax. He represents several companies in tax audits and compliance and lectures at the EM Tax Training School.
Richard Ladjagla is a Chartered Accountant with over 16 years of working experience in finance, taxation, accounting, audit and administration. He also has proven experience in treasury management, financial reporting, risk management, budgeting and budgetary control, investment appraisals and design of financial and internal control systems.
Richard is an associate member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants (Ghana) and a member of the Chartered Institute of Taxation (Ghana). He holds a Master of Business Administration Degree and Post Graduate Diploma in Entrepreneurship.
EMMANUEL NANA ADJEI, ACCA, ICA (Gh), LLB.
EMMANUEL NANA ADJEI is a leading consultant with over 10 years in value-added tax ( VAT) and other indirect taxes and accounting and finance. He has represented high-profile clients in VAT and customs dispute resolution with the Revenue Authority. He lectures at the EM Tax Training School.
Emmanuel is a Chartered Accountant who qualified with the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants and the Institute of Chartered Accountants. He is also a Chartered Tax Practitioner, holding his qualification from the Chartered Institute of Taxation, Ghana.
MAVIS HAMENU, ICA, (Gh), CITG, LLM, Tax law Policy and Practice, BSc Accounting
MAVIS HAMENU coordinates the firm’s training programs. She has also provided tax advisory services for corporate entities and high-net-worth Individuals.
Mavis is a Chartered Accountant, having qualified with the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants and the Institute of Chartered Accountants. She is also a Chartered Tax Practitioner, holding her qualifications from the Chartered Institute of Taxation, Ghana.
